Being led

You live nearby school, but today you have an impression that it is located light years away from your home. You and Amy are holding hands and you are wondering what will happen? Will anybody mock you? Your school is rather progressive but you don't remember any openly gay couple. You scold yourself in your mind. You are NOT in a relationship, you will end this farce as soon as you can. But now you'll have to face the whole school anyway. Amy realizes that you are nervous.

"Don't worry" she says with a reassuring smile "everything will be alright. I'm here to protect you."

You almost laugh. You are higher and stronger than her, her statement is ridiculous, how could she protect you? Yet, you let her to lead you forward. When you enter school you are under an impression that everybody is looking at you. You hear some gasps, you don't look around you, you concentrate your eyes on one point at the end of the hall. It takes both of you awfully long time to reach the door to the classroom. When you finally do this, Amy asks you:

"Ready?"

She didn't wait for your confirmation and walks through the door pulling you with her. Your classmates are watching you two, but you don't hear any mean comments, but to be honest you are so concentrated on not blushing that it's possible that you are not paying attention, but you are certain that Raven said nothing. When you are finally in your chair you give a sigh of relief.

"Could've been worse" you though that you said that quietly, but Amy heard you.

She puts her hands on your arms "I told you that everything will be fine."

Yeah. But you are still nervous, because you have physics on a second lesson. You believe that Amy has something on Gerrow, but sill...after yesterday you wish to never see his fucking face again. During the break Amy kisses you and says:

"I need to take care of something."

You wonder if this "something" has anything to do with Gerrow. Seems likely, she didn't have an opportunity to talk to him earlier. You would prefer to be a witness of her putting him in his place, but, oh well, your grade is the most important thing. And after you get it, then you will break up with Amy. Maybe not immediately, maybe after two or three days, to not be too cruel.

During lesson Gerrow is avoiding your eyes. You want to laugh at this bastard, Amy did great. She still behaves like a bitch, exploiting you like this, but she is partially exonerated. When the lesson ends Gerrow says:

"Miss Roden, can you stay for a moment please?"

Of course you do that, sure that finally you'll get the grade you deserve. You see in the corner of your eye that Amy stayed near the door, she probably wants to make sure that Gerrow doesn't try any more shit. It's unnecessary, but nice.

"Miss Roden" he says in the official tone "after consideration and looking at your past grades I decided to give you a chance to take the test which will check your knowledge in the areas that you were lacking it at the last exam. You'll take this test in one-month time. Does it seems agreeable to you?"

What the fuck! You want to get the grade, not write some stupid test. You look at Amy and she's smiling. You are gonna kill her. But you **** yourself to speak politely:

"Of course, mister Gerrow, I'm very grateful for the opportunity. "

After you two leave school you attack her immediately:

"Amy! What the fuck!"

"Something's wrong?" she feigns surprise.

"You know what's wrong? A test?"

"That's an honest way to solve things" she answers calmly.

"You promised that I'll get that grade now!"

"I did no such thing. I promised that you'll get five. And you will. After you pass that test."

"But...but..." you are speechless.

"Don't worry" she plants a soft kiss on your lips "I know that you don't like to learn some things, but it was before we were together. Now everything will change, because you have me to help. I'll come to your house today and we'll start."

You are not even angry anymore, you are more surprised and confused than anything.
