Chapter 17 by anonenffan anonenffan

Rose has to run! But where?

Behind the car

Rose couldn’t hide there. She looked ahead, not sure if she could make it back to her yard before someone came out! There was only one spot that could hide her from both of them, but it would risk a lot of exposure.

With approaching footsteps, Rose didn’t have a choice. She held onto her breasts and ran out onto the driveway of her neighbors house, and crouched down by the front of their car. It was facing the street, as was Rose’s backside.

She watched nervously as her neighbor came from the side of the house where she was just hiding. Her heart was thumping rapidly, thinking of how much of a close call she just had.

Then the door creeked as the other neighbor came out from inside holding another loaded laundry basket. Had Rose simply ran across, both of her neighbors would have caught her. She just avoided being seen by them, but now she had to watch behind her. Her naked body was completely exposed to the streets, and the sound of the rain would drown out the sound of incoming cars.

The redhead looked both ways down the street, and couldn’t see any cars, but that could change in a minute. She looked back over the car she was hiding behind, and saw both of her neighbors. They were just close enough for Rose to eavesdrop a little bit more.

“Why are you loading up everything?”

“I’m taking everything to the laundromat, where they have working driers!”

Rose felt her heart pounding away as she listened to the ongoing argument. She looked all around, checking for cars. Her house was so close by, she wanted to just run to it, but there was no way that could happen with her being seen. She just had to wait.

“If you just wait, we’ll have one!” came the confident voice.

“Oh? Did you order it already? I would be amazed if it was shipped and installed here by the end of the night!”

Clearly, their argument hadn’t moved very far since Rose last heard a little of it. Were they going to continue arguing like this out in the rain? Rose was very exposed in front of their car, and if she didn’t find a better hiding spot soon, she would be seen!

‘Please, somebody just give up and go away,’ Rose mentally pleaded.

“One way or another, you’re getting your clothes dried, I promise.”

“Well if you wanna make that happen, spare me some quarters.”

It just wasn’t Rose’s night. At the rate they were going, they would be arguing until the sun came up. There was no way Rose could wait that long. Then again, she glanced at them, then towards her house.

Maybe… just maybe they were distracting each other enough. If she was quiet, quick, and careful, Rose could get back to her own house. But was moving now worth the risk?

Should Rose go for it now?
