Before reaching Route 2...

"There you are," says Lillie just as you are about to get out of the city. "I got lost looking for you, it's such a big city. Anyways, if you're going to Verdant Cavern, I read that island challenges were made to prove yourself and gain the strength to battle the guardian deities of Alola, like Tapu Koko. Hopefully we'll find out why it saved you and Nebby that day..." and once hearing its name, Nebby squeals inside her bag. Before heading, you are stopped by Kakuna Hala and his Tauros again.

"I just calmed him down," says Hala, "I guess he was excited about coming to the city. Maybe give him a little pat again?" You do so, and Tauros roars softly. "He's sure happy to know you," remarks Hala, "I think he wants to do an island challenge like you!" All of a sudden, Tauros runs towards the route, with the kakuna chasing after him.

And finally, here we are at Route 2. There's quite a bit of exploration here, starting with the grass patch to your left and a female Trainer of some sorts to your right. What do you do?
