Beer?

“I'll take a beer.” you decide. You don't turn 21 for almost a year, but you figure you'll take your chances out here with the forest police.

“Beer it is,” Bruce say, tossing you an unopened can, which you catch more easily than you thought you would.

“Me too,” Elise says, looking at her father for the first time since you arrived.

“I don't think so, missy.” Bruce says as Nadia walks over and grabs a water.

“Oh, come on!” Elise whines. “Alex doesn't look like he's 21 and you gave him one.”

“Alex's parents aren't around to stop me.” Bruce argues, grinning at you. “Besides, if you wanted a refreshment you should have helped out.”

The consistent level of bickering between the father and the daughter is a little awkward, but this family seems friendly enough. Then again, it's always the quiet ones that end up being murderers. Still, you decide you might take your chances. If nothing else, it's better than sitting around alone in your own campsite.
