Been reduced to a miniskirt!

Chihiro felt ample relief wash over her as she took her seat. The feeling of being back at her desk always put her at ease. It wasn't as relieving as being in the library, but it was easily the next best thing. Her hands settled across her desk in a neatly folded posture as her feet settled against the floor. Then she she felt an oddly... cool sensation brushing against the skin of her thighs, just above the knee. It was the wooden sensation of her own chair, touching her own exposed legs.

"What on ear-..." Chihiro slowly craned her head down, and she felt her face draining of color. Her skirt was halfway gone. A long trail of unwoven cloth was leading away, and in its wake, her garment had unraveled to well above her knees. It was not nearly as indecent as that Takeba girl's ridiculous outfit, but for Chihiro, it was downright obscene!

She steadied her nerves with a deep breath, reached down, and tore the string off with a sharp pull. That would be the end of THAT. She then kept her legs firmly together. Okay... so she'd have to be a little more cautious, that was all. Several girls wore mini-skirts, maybe people would assume Chihiro was following a trend. Not like anyone noticed the bookish introvert, anyway.

Chihiro finally managed to calm down by the time the class started. She'd just stay put, finish her studies, and continue on with her day.
