Becky smiled as she knew what she would find as she entered Emily’s room. She carried the package of diapers with her. “Emily,” Becky said as she saw the teenager crying her eyes out, crouching in her pull up. “Did you have another accident?”
Becky didn’t really need to ask as she gazed at the sheets that had a wet spot on them again. “I guess those pull ups aren’t enough for nighttime. We’ll have to use proper diapers. Don’t worry though, you can still wear the pull ups during the day. Think of them as discreet underwear.”
Emily immediately stood up, tears streaming down her eyes as she looked at Becky. “I…I don’t need daytime pull ups. This is only happening at night!”
“Now, Emily. I know you’re sensitive about this,” Becky said. “But I think it’d be a good idea. I don’t want you wetting your pants and creating more laundry for me. This ensures that.”
Emily’s lip quivered. “I’m not a baby!” Emily shouted. “I don’t need…”
“How about I call your parents and see what they think!” Becky yelled. “I’m just trying my best, Emily. It’s not my fault you’ve wet the bed TWICE. You need diapers! There’s no way to avoid it anymore. So you’ll be in diapers for the rest of the summer or until this problem goes away. Now, get those sheets off the bed and bring them downstairs. I’m tired of you arguing.”
Emily whimpered as she looked defeated as she did what Becky said. Becky grinned once Emily headed down the stairs. It was all working so well.
