Becky stared petrified, naked and soaked as out of the car stepped the dark haired woman. She had her hair in a tight bun, and she looked… livid. Only Vivian Roberts could make Becky regress to a blubbering baby with her stern eyes. It’s not that Vivian was abusive because she wasn’t. It was just that Vivian knew how to carry herself. Becky didn’t even need to be spanked to be intimidated by her mother, though the spankings definitely made a statement.
Becky whimpered. “W-what are you doing here?”
“What am I doing here?” Vivian snapped. “What am I doing here? What are you doing in the middle of the street dancing naked?!”
Becky gulped. “I…I…” Becky couldn’t speak. Her mouth went dry.
Vivian rolled her eyes and grabbed Becky’s wrist, pulling her back toward the others. “I see you have a runaway,” Vivian said. “Dani, sweetie. How are you doing?”
“I’m doing good, Auntie Viv,” Dani said.
“And where is my daughter? Isn’t she supposed to be babysitting you?” Vivian asked.
“Huh?” Dani said, looking towards Becky and then realizing that Vivian didn’t know the girl she was holding WAS Becky.
