Chapter 3 by FallenSaint FallenSaint

What Else is there to know?

Beastiary

This is where I'll list information about monsters. It will probably not be in any special order unless someone else wants to organize it later.

Werewolves:

Weakness: Silver. (NO SILVER BULLETS OR GUNS IN THIS STORY)

Werewolves can either be born or made. The first werewolf was rumored to be a man named Lycaon. They are fast and deadly, able to strike faster than most enemies. Some weaker ones travel in packs, but the strongest usually go it alone.

Split personalities:

All werewolves suffer from split personalities, usually with the "Wolf" personality being the dominant one. Some werewolves can actually have their two personalities work together like Rondo and his wolf side Lobo. It is the wolves with this balance who remain sane and are able to control their transformations and their killing urges.

Representatives: Rondo and Lycaon

Vampires: (These do NOT sparkle in the sunlight. Not killed by it, but don't sparkle!)

Weakness: Fire

Vampires are souless beings, but still able to produce offspring, either with other vampires or humans. The half-blood children are called Dhampir, and are the natural enemies of the vampire race. Vampires are solitary beings, but command great respect.

Rerpresentatives: Valdin

Goblins:

Weakness: Small size

Goblin is actually a human word. The race's true name is Martuk. Each tribe is like an extended family, sharing the same tribal surname. Goblins are small with dense and muscular bodies. They make their homes in a wide variety of places. The Firebrand tribe makes its home in the side of the Granite Cliff wall, the Earthclaw tribe lives under the Ancestral Graveyard that used to be maintained by Carthin, The Serpent tribe lives on the coast near Brax and spend their lives fishing and building small boats.

Goblins follow a chieftan that works for the good of the tribe. This position isn't passed from father to son, and any member of the tribe, male or female, can be elected to the position when the current chief is ready to step down.

Goblins also normally have a shaman acting as their healer and magician. This position is normally hereditary because not all goblins possess the skill needed to use shamanistic magic. The current shaman will teach his or her children how to keep the line going and protect the tribe with their abilities. If a shaman fails to produce children, then a replacement must be found, even if it means exchanging a few females with another clan for the child of their shaman.

Representatives: Taka and Saraf

Centaur:

The upper body of a man and the lower body of a hourse, Centaur are powerfully build creatures that are mostly wild and warlike.

Because of the size and shape of the Centaur body, they have many openings in combat. Even though they can easily kill and enemy, there are too many ways to wound them in close range combat. Because of that, Centaurs rely on the speed granted to them by their lower bodies to outmanuever enemies when **** into close range combat, but they still prefer long range weapons like bows and or spears.

Centaurs monstly live in wide open areas so that they can easily hunt and move as needed. This type of Centaur is normally nomadic living in a family structure. On the other hand, the Centaur Chiron and some like minded elders have formed several villages in forest regions that are home to anyone that comes in peace.

Representatives: Chiron and Janus

Minotaur:

Minotaur are hulking, beast-like men that have the head of a bull and the body of a man. This race is broken into two categories: Feral and Tribal.

Feral Minotaur are solitary beings that have given in to their more base and animal natures. They live off the land, wearing no clothing or protective gear and using only the most primitive of weapons. These Minotaur have been captured and used as guardians of labyrinths and hidden treasures by those who can afford to pay for their capture.

Tribal Minotaur live in groups ranging from fifty nomads to a few hundred in cave systems or small fortresses. This variety of Minotaur has retained their reasoning and speech skills and use this to further their people. They can trade and live peacefully with humans, but their large and monstrous nature often hinders this. Most Tribal Minotaur take up jobs as mercenaries or miners. Their great size and strength give them an advantage over humans in terms of power and endurance.

One weakness that both sets of Minotaur suffer from in their inability to carry out delicate work. Their size and strength makes even a simple buttoned shirt a troublesome affair for even the most gifted Minotaur. It is because of this that most Tribal groups take slaves (Preferably female) in order to have the day to day tasks like cleaning done.

Marriage is mostly used for political purposes such as the joining of two tribes or the ending of a conflict and rarely carries more than a symbolic meaning. Sex is enjoyed with nearly any member of the tribe even when a marriage has happened. Sex to Minotaur is both for pleasure and a sign of respect between equals. Slaves may experience ****, but rarely on a large scale. Such acts are usually a sign of dominance over a newly defeated enemy.
