You just shake your head and put a hand on Mias shoulder. then you give her a gentle rub to comfort her.

"Stop crying," you say friendly and hug your maid, "I will not punish you. You didn't hurt anyone and I am sure you had no evil thoughts."

"But I broke the rules," Mia replies, "if you don't punish me you would look weak. And you can't just give me preferential treatment."

"Why not?" you ask caring, "you are a pretty, kind servant. You have been my maid for years and nobody is hurt. I believe I can forgive you such minor mistakes."

"I see," Mia says and her voice is suddenly cold as ice, "thanks for calling me pretty. I appreciate this. And I am sorry for touching your sword."

"Don't be!" you say her and she purrs agreeing, “unlike my brother I care for my servants. Don't worry. If the worst case happens I will make sure that as much people as possible are save. And if you really want to defend yourself I can teach you a few lessons. I will not let anyone hurt you.”

“Thanks, master,” Mia answers unsure, “I appreciate that. But woman are not allowed to have weapons or join the army.”

“You can use many things as weapons,” you reply, “and I believe a few private lessons are not a problem. My father will not know. Did you knew he leaves us today together with my brother. There is a meeting of all nobles in the capital.”

"Really?" Mia surprised, " I didn't knew. This is … unexpected. But if you don't mind I still have a lot of work to do. I must help serve your families lunch."
