When Ward finally re-enters the locker room, looking about as sad as a man of his size possibly could, you're overcome with a pang of sympathy. You might have thrown Ryan's pride in the dumpster, but something about Ward gives you a change of heart.

You approach him and give him a gentle pat on the shoulder. "Hey, man. No hard feelings, alright? You're an amazing fighter, and a hottie, to boot. Good match."

Ward meets your eyes, and gives a small, grateful smile. "Thanks, man. You're good, yourself. I've seen your brothers in action. Never saw one of them kick a guy while he was down, though..."

You blush slightly. "Sorry, man. I guess I was just a bit scared. You're strong, y'know? Didn't want to take any chances."

Ward shrugs his shoulders. "No hard feelings, man. Thanks for being cool about your win. Kinda thought you'd be the type to rub it in."

Ward may not be your ally, but you've lowered your cruelty, which means you might gain some in the future!
