Bat on Cat

Fuck it, Selina thought. Scrambling forward, she approached the vigilante.

"Leave this one to me, boys." Selina said confidently. Besides, there's been enough killing tonight...

Feeling something hot trickle down her face, Selina pressed a thumb to her cheekbone. Batwoman's dramatic entrance had given her a few tiny cuts on her face. Nothing requiring medical attention or that would leave a mark, but still, Selina's ego was somewhat bruised.

"You know, I'm usually the one doing the scratching, Red." Selina remarked, holding up her slightly bloody thumb.

"Seems like you've graduated to homicide. Was only a mater of time." Batwoman responded, her voice low, commanding, but undeniably sensual. It made Selina want to claw off that bodysuit.

"You think you can handle me? Hate to break it to ya, but even the real deal couldn't!" Selina taunted, lunging at the woman, claws out.

Batwoman dodged, and threw a punch. She was faster than Bruce, nearly as fast as Selina.

Countering, Selina jumped back, flicking her whip at the vigilante, buying herself a little breathing room.

Eventually, Batwoman caught it around her wrist, yanking it out of Selina's hands. She was stronger than her sleek physique would suggest. There was almost a brutal military efficiency to some of her strikes.

Selina did what she could to avoid Batwoman's punishing punches and kicks, striking out with a claw of her own here and there. She caught the vigilante a glancing blow to the shoulder, the shallow nick revealing some skin, as pale as that in her cowl's faceplate.

"Now we're even!" Selina taunted.

"No, now we're getting started!" Batwoman retorted, rushing the thief.

As the fight drew on, Selina slowly becoming exhausted, it occured to her that at least Frank and his men were getting one hell of a gladiatorial show.
