Back to the library (#3)

You head back to the library.

{if Lupe > 0}Lupe gives you a tentative smile as you enter and you realize you owe her a call. You spend a couple of minutes chatting with her{else}The clerk gives you a tentative smile and you smile back{endif} before heading back to talk to Elizabeth at the librarian desk.

"You know," she says, "I really don't think this is what you're looking for after all."

She looks a little flustered. The blush doesn't really stand out against her tanned skin but you're pretty sure it's there.

"What's the problem?"

She looks both ways, then gets up from her desk and walks around it to stand right next to you.

You allow yourself to check out her legs as she walks... she's wearing a skirt-suit that's cut mid-thigh... not enough to let you even hope to get a glimpse of panty but definitely enough to let you see her nice legs go all the way up, then focus your gaze on her eyes.

She still has that sexy scent you've found yourself daydreaming about and you inhale deeply, then blush red yourself. God, how perverted is that... where she can notice.

You're pretty sure she notices but she ignores it. "You know I recommended Crowley about the Enochian, but I've done more research on him. It turns out, he..."

"Yes?"

"Well, he's all about sex magic."

"Ah. Well, maybe that makes sense."

"Why?"

"Think about it. If there is a way to communicate to the sim, the message will have to stand out. It'll have to be associated with something out of the ordinary. Just saying something in everyday speech probably wouldn't come to the notice of the interpreter. It needs some sort of indicator. Like the curly brackets in some languages, or indents in Python. The intense emotion associated with sexual activity could, possibly, be the kind of pointer the interpreter is looking for."

"Oh. Do you really think that's the case?"

"Well, I really think it's reasonable enough that investigators would want to consider it."

"Well... in that case, I've found a few more references. I've put in an interlibrary request for the books. They should be here in a few days."
