He points at the bowl. Looks like he's added about 12 cards while you were away. Better than nothing, I suppose.

Ryan heads back to his cave behind the booth. He slaps your ass hard as he walks by you. You redden in embarrassment and anger, but by the time you round on him, he's disappeared behind the wall.
