BUL Day 12 - Just Communication

You put on your swimsuit, which isn’t quite as bold as Sun’s, and go down there to take the lounger beside hers. You put on sunscreen and try not to stare. Sun might be the flattest girl in all of FUTA, but that only makes her perky nips that much more erotic for some reason.

“What’s up?” she asks from behind her giant sunglasses. How is she always so effortlessly cool? She’s basically naked, and that thong isn’t hiding anything. It’s like it’s painted on.

You position yourself so an erection won’t be obvious.

“How well do you know Aki?” you ask her.

She glances over at you and lowers her sunglasses. “Well enough to know that you better be serious if you’re trying to go there,” she says mysteriously.

“Serious?”

“Yeah. Serious,” she repeats, putting her sunglasses on.

“I just don’t know how to talk to her.”

“Be honest. Be direct,” Sun replies. “That’s always best.”

“But she’s so classy and fancy. Is it really cool to just ask her out?”

“What would be the better way?” Sun asks, annoyed. “Wouldn’t you want someone to just be honest with you? Or would you want them to play games?”

Huh… when she puts it like that, it seems obvious. It’s hard to imagine Aki being interested in an American dumbass like yourself, but there must be something about you that she likes. You have to assume that she doesn’t let just anyone spend the night in her bed, even if she doesn’t fool around.

Well, there’s **** here. Today you have quiet. If you’re going to do something, it should be now. Anything later will just get in the way of soccer, and you owe it to your team to have your business figured out before the week starts.

You leave the pool and go straight to Aki, sitting down across from her.

She looks up from her laptop. You have tried to have this conversation with her before, but never made it work. This time you’ll do it.

“I want you to be my girlfriend,” you tell her bluntly. “I really like you.”

No reaction! Typical Aki. This is what intrigues you about her so much. Any girl would react somehow to a person saying that.

“I can’t,” she says.

You smile, relieved. So you weren’t misreading anything. It’s hard to be disappointed when it was such an unrealistic thing to attempt, but now at least you won’t regret not asking.

“I understand. Sorry,” you say, getting ready to stand up. “I just wanted to say it.”

“I could be your bride,” she says with no change of tone or expression.

You stop. “What?”

“Your bride,” she says.

You laugh nervously. “We barely know each other. You would marry me?”

“If you were serious.”

“I seriously like you.”

She stares at you, and you understand. She means something else. It’s like Sun said.

“What? I’d have to prove how serious I was?” you ask with another laugh.

“Would you?” Aki asks.

This took an unexpected turn, but at least it's communication.
