BSW Day 3 - You are not sure

"I don't know," you say.

Beth looks disappointed.

Riona and Beth can't stay. After lunch they have to go play in the practice game, and Angela watches from the window and tells you and Adella what is happening. She says there is a new girl with brown hair who looks like she is dominating the game.

"She is very good," Angela says. She is having fun watching the girls play.

Adella looks like she does not believe it. She likes being the best player at the camp.

"I heard she was an archaeology student or something," you say. "Her name is Lara. I think Beth knows her."

"Yes. They work together as a team," Angela says.

"You really care about teamwork," you tell her.

"Teamwork is necessary to win," the blonde replies. She's just very intense when she talks about players supporting other players and stuff like that. She seems frustrated when the players don't look out for each other.

The game ends, and a very sweaty Beth and Riona stop by the infirmary on the way to the showers.

"They're opening up the pool soon," Beth tells you breathlessly.

"You're going shopping?"

"Can you come?"

"No," Angela says firmly.

"Don't worry, then. I'll get you one too."

That worries you. What kind of suit will Beth pick out for you?

"I'll get one for you as well," Riona tells Adella, who looks just as uneasy as you feel.

They rush off to shop, leaving you and Adella with Angela again. Angela brings you dinner from the dining hall, and you sit up in your beds and eat it with the TV on. By now you both feel good enough to stand up, walk around, and clean up, but you are still very fatigued. Angela says you can go back to camp as normal tomorrow, but you have to spend the night in the infirmary.

You won't even have visitors because the other girls are going on this overnight camping trip that they are all dreading because of the heat. You and Adella definitely cannot safely go to participate in that... Just taking a quick shower in the infirmary bathroom wore you out.

Normally the nurse would be here, but Angela has to go join the girls camping in case someone gets hurt in the woods. She gives you and Adella a button to push for emergencies and her phone number, leaves some snacks, and leaves.

You are stuck here with Adella all night. This is so weird.

She sits in her bed, watching ESPN, looking very irritable.
