BR - Secrets Part 2

It doesn’t look like they’re done, but you can’t spy on them all night. You creep out and leave the house, careful to leave no sign that you were there. Your thoughts race on the way back to Edna’s house. There’s a lot to unpack. You aren’t sure where to start.

You expect to find Beth asleep, and you’re a little disappointed when you don’t. She’s on her back, snuggled in comfortably, but wearing her thinking face. You don’t see that very often. You have learned that Beth is a bit like you in that she prefers PE to math. Or whatever they call PE in England.

She smiles at you and pops her pill, taking a drink from the cup of water that you brought her. You undress and slide back into Edna’s bed with her.

“Thanks, babe,” she says, cuddling immediately. Her satisfied after-sex clinginess is gone. This is her anxious clinginess. You can tell from the way she puts her leg over you and has her hand on your chest. When she’s still glowing after lovemaking, she keeps her leg together and that hand between them, cupping her mound. You aren’t sure why, she just does. You think it’s sexy.

This, where she holds you tight and keeps sighing, isn’t quite as sexy. But you love her, so it doesn’t matter. You kiss her forehead and hold her, then turn off the light.

“What are you thinking about?” you ask after a minute.

“Stuff,” she replies.

You have a feeling that some of that stuff involves you and the pressure that you’ve put on her to come out. You remember what it was like to worry about that with your own family. Of course, that hadn’t gone the way that you expected. Kayla had suspected from a young age because of the way that you looked at girls, then confirmed it once she nosily found out what kind of porn you’d been watching. She hadn’t cared, except to have another thing to tease you about and hold over you. And Mom? You had hesitated to tell her for a long time because things always seemed to be tense between her and Dad and you didn’t want to add to her stress. But when you finally cracked and told her, she had been relieved. You hadn’t expected that.

She’d known about your penis; you’d been born with it. Her reasoning had been that you would have better luck with women than men, given your anatomy. She’d assured you that men liked it too, but that she just had a feeling that you’d be better off with a female partner. It had been a weird conversation. She’d tried to explain why she thought that, but you hadn’t fully understood at the time. It was something to do with the male ego.
