Awakenings

Ella awoke to the smell of fresh coffee and toast. It lessened the horrible headache a little but the sounds coming from her kitchen confused her. She got up and stumbled to the door and saw trinity, bright eyed and happy making breakfast in her kitchen.

"whaa?" Ella mumbled confused as hell.

"uh hi, you were so out of it you didn't actually make it out of my apartment last night" Trinity giggled "or didn't you notice the kitchen and walls are covered in posters and painted differently?"

"snuuh" Ella mumbled again not willing to have coherent thoughts right now.

"go get dressed and come have breakfast skank" she said with a grin.

"ugh morning people" Ella muttered to herself as she went to find her shoes.

After eating breakfast Ella was 100% more human and also realized she was probably going to be super late to her job as a bike messenger.

"crap I've got to get to work in like 40 minutes, Laters Trin maybe give you a call after work?" Ella said as she headed for the door.

"sure that would be cool, what you do anyway" she asked from the doorway as Ella fumbled with the front door to her apartment.

"bike messenger, i deliver stuff all day"

"wow sounds like hard work"

"you know it, cya"

Trinity waved as Ella hopped on the lift, she couldn't help but blush a little, she liked Trinity but this already felt like it was going somewhere she was not sure that she was ready to go right now. not so soon after Derek.
