Athena tries to lighten the mood

“Well, good thing I went shopping yesterday.” Athena jokes.

“Athena, this is serious.” I say.

“I know.” Athena replies. “But if we let this get to us, we’re gona end up feeling depressed. Besides, it’s not like this quarantine is going to be so bad. I mean, we’ve got each other, don’t we?”

I think back of the last few days I spend with just me and Athena in the house. Then I extend that to a whole month. If she keeps up her sensual behavior, my cousin is going to be the end of me.

Later, in the afternoon, neither me nor Athena had anything to do. Usually she would be at work. Thanks to the lockdown, that isn’t happening now. The next set of laundry is already in the washing machine. Really, all I got to do is wait now. Then Athena comes up with something for us to do.
