At a coffee shop up the road

Since you are out of your office all day, you have your receptionist make arrangements for you to meet with Maria Menounos at an alternate venue.

Since she is no stranger to LA, she agrees to meet with you at a coffee shop up the road from your office, and shows up in her best causal wear, a normal t-shirt and blue jeans combo you might see anyone else in the coffee shop wear to one of these, as well.

"I'm not late, am I Mr. Doe?" she asks you as she shuffles over to your table, pulling up a seat.

"Not at all Ms. Menounos," you tell her, offering to buy her the coffee of her choice as the two of you begin to talk.

"I really appreciate the fact that you're going out of your way to meet with me, John," she tells you, "I know you're a busy man."

"Don't mention it Maria," you tell her as the two of you have a casual, but effective meeting that leaves both of you quite sure you're going to hash out an agreement sooner rather than later.

You're not sure how long the two of you had been talking, but the next thing you know, it's long past the time you had allotted for this meeting and you were still talking to Maria.

"We;ll have to pick this up some other time, Maria," you tell her, apologizing for the abrupt ending to the meeting, "as I have somewhere to be right now. Please contact my receptionist to set up a second meeting in my office so we can finalize the details."
