Astryd, one of the bridesmaids

After Alexa found the coast clear, Daniel headed towards the lobby. There he found an ebony goddess wearing a bright yellow summer dress and a smile. Kyall figured she must be Astryd, one of the bridesmaids. He didn't know much about her, except she was from Barbados and that's where Alexa and her met. Either way, her emerald eyes sparkled as she looked to Kyall and said "Hello."

"Hey. What's going on here?"

"I believe there has been some problem with the bookings. I'm Astryd, by the way."

"Kyall. Pleasure to meet you."

"Pleasure's all mine."

Astryd then grabbed Kyall's hand and kissed it, before giving him a sultry smile.

"I apologize Miss Standford, but it appears all rooms are booked. Our apologies."

"It's okay. I think I can stay with this one." Astryd turned to Kyall. "If that's okay?"

Kyall grinned at the beauty in front of him."Absolutely. Come with me."

With both of Astyd's suitcases in hand, Kyall led her to the elevator. Inside, Astryd said "Thanks Kyall."

"Not a problem."

"So, have I missed the rehearsal dinner?"

"No. We're just about to start, actually."

"Great, 'cause I'm starving."

There was a second of silence before Kyall said "So, uh... There's another thing."

"What?"

"There's only one bed in my room. I mean, I can sleep on the cou-"

"Perfect." Astryd said, causing Kyall to cock his head to the side.

In response, Astryd just giggled.

"Alexa's told me all about you."

Her words made Aaron's heart pound like a jackhammer as he awaited what she'd say next.
