Assure her it will be okay

"So won't the manager find me in the morning?" Sophia asks with a worried look.

"I'll hide you in the security room until the first customers come in," you tell her. "My butt is on the line as much as yours if we get caught."

The redhead smiles at you and gives you a kiss on the cheek.

"What was that for?" you ask with a smile.

"For being so nice to me," she says, smiling back. "Any other guy would have taken advantage of me in this situation."

"Yeah, the girls at school keep telling me I'm a nice guy..." you shrug. "Wait here while I go turn off the cameras. I'll be right back."

You use your flashlight to guide your way to the back of the store, up a flight of stairs, through the staff lunchroom and to the small security room. You know that turning off the cameras even for a few minutes will be suspicious but you're willing to risk that noone would ever go through hundreds of hours and notice a couple minutes of blank screens. After turning off the cameras you make your way back to the dressing room.

Sophia smiles with relief when she sees you and takes your hand so you can guide her through the dark store.

"So... you're not seeing anyone...?" Sophia asks shyly after you open the door to the security room and hurriedly turn the cameras back on.
