Ask what her husband would think of her talking to you

"So what would your husband think about you talking to me like this?"

"Why don't you ask him yourself? Here comes Hank now."

You look in the direction Janice indicates and see a healthy-looking, fit man in his late 40's or early 50's walking toward you. You are grateful for the advance warning that he is coming, or else you might have been caught flirting with Janice, and he looks like he could break you in half without even trying.

Hank walks over to his wife and lays down on the blanket next to her.

"Hank, this is Bryan," says Janice.

Bryan greets you, and you get the sense that he is looking you over as if he were contemplating buying a new car. He leans on one side with the front of his body pressed against the back of his wife, with an arm lying casually on Janice's thigh.

"Is he the one," Hank asks Janice.

"I think so," she responds. "I haven't gotten around to asking all the questions yet, but so far I'm leaning toward him."

You find it curious that they are apparently talking about you as if you weren't even there, and you are even more curious about just what they think you are the one for.

Janice notices your confusion and says, "Sorry, Bryan... My husband gets a little too anxious sometimes, and forgets his manners. You see, we have really gotten into the swinger lifestyle, and one of the things that gets Hank most turned on is watching me with another man. When he saw me talking to you, he just naturally assumed that I was trying to take you to bed. I hope that doesn't shock you too much."

Swingers? You have heard about them and always wanted to check that all out, but this is a first for you.

"No, I'm not shocked," you reassure her. "I think that's pretty damn cool, in fact."
