Interested to learn more, you ask Ryan to come back with you to your house so you can better speak in private. You mention that your parents worked late so you'd have the house to yourselves for a good few hours.

"I can drive you home afterwards," you reassure him.

Ryan hesitated briefly but eventually agreed to go with you, "Fine. Let me just call my folks and let them know that I'll be going to a friend's place."

You grin and head towards your car, "I'll be waiting in the car."
