What's next?
Ask about the transformative nature of his work.
With a voice that quivers only slightly, you inquire, "Were all of your subjects willing to undergo such **** modifications?" The Flesh Artist regards you with a piercing gaze. Instead of answering directly, he poses a question back at you, asking, "What do you know about the gender and transgender ideology of the western world?" Caught off guard by the unexpected turn of conversation, you gather your thoughts and do your best to explain the complexities and nuances of these societal constructs. In that moment, you realize that the world of The Flesh Artist is not just about physical transformations, but a realm where the very essence of being is up for exploration and transformation. You find yourself drawn into a discussion that goes beyond mere words, delving into the intricacies of identity and existence.
Intrigued by his musings, The Flesh Artist turns to you and asks you to explain gender affirming care. Your mind races as you gather your thoughts and attempt to articulate the intricate ideology. As The Flesh Artist's intense gaze fixates on you, you take a deep breath and begin to explain, "It is an approach to help people align their physical appearance with their chosen identity. It involves surgeries, hormones and **** to help a person transition from one gender to another." As you outline the complexities of this transformative journey, The Flesh Artist circles you ominously, his presence casting a shadow that both frightens and enthralls you.
The Flesh Artist nods, saying, "These modifications are personalized to each person's unique desires, with the aim of helping them feel more complete and authentic in their own skin." As he speaks, The Flesh Artist's imposing presence seems to loom over you. He elaborate, "It is ultimately a profoundly personal and empowering experience for those who embark on it. It is about finding the subject's true identity despite the societal pressures and standards that may try to dictate otherwise. My art is much the same, though a thousand times more advanced." As he places his hands on your shoulders, you can feel the weight of his gaze upon you, like a sculptor regarding a raw block of stone with a mix of admiration and anticipation.
"The ideology I follow is transhumanist," The Flesh Artist reveals to you, his voice laced with intrigue. "It transcends the boundaries of traditional human limitations."
Intrigued by his mention of transhumanism and its connection to living works of art, you can't help but ask for more. "Can you explain what you mean by transhuman?" you inquire, feeling a mix of curiosity and apprehension.
He gestures towards the crowd of individuals adorned with intricate body modifications, describing them as living art, captivating your attention.
"Do you know of the more **** and exotic genders being imagined?" The Flesh Artist inquires, his voice cutting through the air. "Unicorn, sasquatch, and mermaid among them."
You admit your limited knowledge in this area, only vaguely aware of such concepts. With a hint of amusement in his eyes, he begins to explain the idea to you, as his hands casually slide down your shoulders before coming to rest near your throat, sending a shiver of excitement down your spine.
His words paint a vivid picture of transforming a person into a mythical creature like a unicorn, or a cryptid like a sasquatch, or even a fantastical being like a mermaid. The possibilities and beauty of such transformation make your mind wander, stirring a blend of fear and fascination within you.
As he explains that the modified human artwork on his island helps to discover the true form in their souls and align their bodies with that vision, you find yourself nodding in awe, captivated by his words of transformation and artistry, and as his hands linger on your throat, you find yourself caught in a whirlwind of conflicting emotions, unsure of where this conversation will lead you next.
"Take my Dragoons, for example," he points towards the two draconic men who escorted you here, and seem to act as a guard **** for the Island. "They were soldiers, criminal enforcers, men that wished to be transformed into fierce predators and now I have excavated their true nature and forms from the clay of their flesh." Their fierce presence sends a shiver down your spine, realizing the power of The Flesh Artist's ability to shape and mold human bodies into fantastical forms. You begin to open your mouth to ask another question, but The Flesh Artist, his gaze intense as he circles to face you, presses a finger against your lips, silencing you.
"I have answered these first questions without consequence," he warns you, "But further inquiries will come at a price." The weight of his words hangs heavy in the air. "Are you ready to pay the price of knowledge, and suffer for your art?"
