"Yeah, I have a question or two," you say, somewhat rudely. "Like, what is this place?"
"This is Padded Dreams," the woman respond, still sickeningly sweet. "A daycare not designed for children, but for teenagers and young adults who act like children. With a small fee, parents both get rid of their bratty children during the day, and get them rehabilitated."
"Well, what will I do here?"
"You'll embrace your inner child. You'll be diapered, and you'll play with other people like yourself. There's activities and nap times and snacks--it basically functions like an normal daycare."
As the receptionist wraps up your answer, you hear a man say, "Goodbye, sweetums! See you after daycare!"
"Bye bye, daddy!" another voice responds. Down the hall is a girl, seemingly 18 or 19, but you wouldn't tell that from her clothes. She's wearing all pink, with excessive amounts of ruffles all over. She has a huge diaper on, with the word "PRINCESS" on the back. Her hair is done up in pigtails, and when she turns to come down the hall you see she has a massive rack.
When she sees you, she comes running up toward you. "Are you a new friend?" she asks excitedly.
"I, uh..." you glance at the receptionist for a way out.
"Don't feel special," she jokes. "Barbie treats all new daycare kids this way."
Barbie grabs your hand and drags you through the door behind the receptionist's desk, and into a room with excessively bright pink walls, decorated with ducklings and puppies and kittens. Blocks and toys are littered all over the floor, and there's a door in the back labelled "Changing Room". Surprisingly, there's no one in the room.
Despite your protests, she leads you past all this, and to some cubbies next to the Changing Room. Inside the Changing Room you see a number of changing booths, as well as some lockers. Barbie drags you over to a cubby with her name on it.
She grabs a small tube that appears to lipstick. "I made it myself yesterday!" she giggles. "Wanna try it?"
