Ashley’s apartment

The drive lasts several few hours, which are mostly spent looking out the window, listening to music, or chatting with Ashley and catching up on how she’s been. I tell her a little about how I’ve been but I keep it vague. I don’t want to go into details right now. I just got out of there, I don't want to think about it!

Finally we arrive at her place. I get out, stretch, and then fetch my suitcase from the back of the car. Carrying it inside and then up the stairs is a bit difficult due too how heavy and bulky it is. Ashley holds the front door 0open for me, but otherwise she just watches.

Once I've got my suitcase in my room, I head back downstairs to meet with Ashley and see how big the house is. It's a really nice place! I got her friend's room, since she hadn’t moved in yet. I unpack and then head out to the living room, crashing down on the sofa with Ash. We decide to talk about what we're going to do next.
