Arriving

Alexa entered the gym and approached a man who was sitting at the desk at the front. “Name?” The guy asked.

“Alexa Johnson,” Alexa said. “I’m a new member.”

The guy nodded. “Take this. This is the key to your locker. You get access to your locker only while you’re here. You are to return your key every time you leave to ensure you don’t lose it. Any lost or damaged key costs $50 to replace. Your locker number is 13 and don’t forget it. You can use any of the equipment except there are specific ones that are labeled where you will be required to have someone spot you, no exceptions. You can also sign up for a trainer. Every trainer is free the first time, and has their individual prices if you ask them. Any damage to the equipment will cost you large fines, so be careful. There are bathrooms on all sides of the gym, but the lockers and showers are only in the back. Any questions?”

Alexa shook her head. “Great then you can put your stuff away. And if you want the trainer you can go over to the back rooms and pick one that is available at this time,” the guy said.

Alexa nodded as she headed for the locker room.
