Appeal To Her Intellect

"Well, I found this book in the Room of Requirements, see, and when I looked at it I was... Interested... I just wanted to learn something that wasn't violent for once, you know?" Hermione nodded along patiently as he talked, listening carefully to what he was saying. "And well, I've mastered the first few spells on my own but I'm not sure if I can get them all on my own," He shook his head wryly.

Hermione's face shifted instantly from the mixture of angry and proud that it had been to one that was concerned. "Oh Harry, you know that I promised to help you learn anything you want to. But you won't... **** these spells, right? You promise?"

Harry nodded sharply. "Yes definitely. I just thought that some of them look fun, maybe not just for me but for other people too," He finished his spiel and gave her a disarming smile. "So let's work shall we?"

Hermione nodded and they sat down to work, Hermione easily catching up to where he was in the book as she learned spells he had taken all day on while he was still reading the next section.

The next portion of the book was especially interesting to Harry in where it took the previous spells:

The first was titled, "Nerve Expansion": A ritual to extend the nervous system. Each type of input uses its own nerve endings, which can be created and and given a greater ability to carry information. Pain, Temperature, Texture, and Pleasure can each be dialed to where you want them separately with this spell. Side Effects: Increased levels of Proprioception, reflexes, and intelligence are all possible following this ritual.

The second spell was called, "Ongoing Agreement Effect": An expansion of the previous spell, allowing you to keep it up at all times at a low level. Will cause people to agree with your inner desires. Warning: Take care, for if this is used before the first two are mastered, it can result in never-ending actions from others attempting to please you.

The final spell's section was titled, "Becoming The Other Self": If you have mastered the last level, you can search the Well of Eternity for those you could have been and become them. Your mind will stay intact, but your physical self will change to reflect versions of yourself where changes in that reality have resulted in physical changes including different upbringings, ones that lived more or less physically active lives or even have different genetic traits. Warning: Approximately half of your other selves will be the opposite gender, which can have interesting effects.
