Reina cut a very unnerving figure. Her face was painted in black, white and forest green. She was shrouded in robes, but all the robes were see-thru, giving you just enough of a vision of her body under them to make you want more.

Q: What is it exactly that you copy from other famous Asian wrestlers?

Reina stares at you for a long time, her expression behind her painted face unreadable.

You begin to sweat.

Finally, she answers.

"If you haven't watched enough pro wrestling to know about The Great Kabuki, who is my namesake, also The Great Muta and for that matter Tajiri from ECW, I can't explain. The Kabuki gimmick is an image... face paint, unorthodox movements, and the infamous mist."

"Of course, mist in a regular wrestling federation just hurts your eyes. Mine has... other effects."

Q: Any particular favorite role models?

Another cold stare.

"Role models? No. I'm my own role model."

Q: How would you compare American wrestling to Japanese, particular to this league?

"Japanese wrestling is... less colorful and more straight forward. For example, they would perhaps like Casey Luv, but they wouldn't like Cowgirl Casey Luv. But fans are fickle, and there is no telling what they'll take to."

She sighs.

"I debuted at the exact same time as Sheana, and she's already main eventing. So there you have it."

Q: There's been talk of Tanya McVan negotiating with an Asian league. Any association with you, and anything you could tell us?

She shrugs very gracefully.

"I don't know what Tanya has planned. I've wrestled in Japan. I'm open to acting as a goodwill ambassador - possibly, that is. Talent exchanges, that sort of thing."

Q: Hypothetical situation: a fan runs up to you on the street and says he/she's your biggest fan. What would you do?

She laughs coldly.

"I wouldn't be on 'the street'. And if I were, I wouldn't have my face paint or robes on. I'd be dressed in street clothes and maybe wearing shades, and I wouldn't get recognized. That's the way I like it. I know that some girls like to have orgies with their fans, or one night stands with lucky and/or attractive fans. I do not."

She laughs again, slightly less coldly.

"If a fan impresses me somehow, yes, I'll probably pick him up, but he'll have no idea he slept with Reina Kabuki. He'll just think he's one of the luckiest guys in the world because a beautiful woman he's never seen before came up to him and demanded sex."
