Answers

You see her resting on the bed, she is still wary of you, looking at you with cautious eyes. You realise she needs time so you decide to examine the supplies you collected in your backpack. Reaching over you examine what you've found, the contents include tinned beans, vegetables, and a large bottle of rum.

"My name's Lyanna" she says quietly, the surprise causes you to drop the tinned food which rolls towards the bed. She leans over and picks it up examining it.

"Are you hungry" you ask. She nods in reply, you had some energy bars in reserve in the room, as this is a temporary rest point you just have enough to see out a day or 2. You find one and hand it over to her.

She takes it eagerly, quickly dispatching it, you hand her a bottle of water and she downs that.

"I was running from them, I escaped and they wanted me back" she said with a fear in her voice
"You won't be safe, they will try to find me, you should have killed that man, he won't give you a chance to live"

You listen quietly, " why are these guys after you" you ask curiously

"They are part of the militia, they have taken a factory complex on the out skirt the city, they take prisoners there" she answers. The militias start to spring up a few months in to the crisis, the strong began to band together, trying to control what was left. You had decided to survive on your own, you had no love for the militias after what they did to establish power.

"When did they catch you, how did you escape?" you ask her curiously

She looked up staring right at you, then shifted her gaze quickly. You can't quite decipher that look, was is guilt, maybe shame, you can't quite figure it out.

"I escaped last night, managed to get in to city to hide, I guess i wasn't as good at hiding" she say's softly to her lap, stifling a sob.

You nod at her, when she looks up at you.

"You better get rested, you can stay a while your leg gets better, feel free to use the bed" you state getting up as you leave the room. "I'll leave some rations for you to eat".
