Answers questions about her father and what she needs to do next

Venus waited for Liones to continue, but first the ancient Archbishop motioned for her to sit on the bed. Venus did so, still feeling fairly frustrated about the news that her husband had taken a wife without her there. Once she was seated, Liones continued.

"Seigrin's daughter, it is good that you survived. Rose heard your conversation with William. The children were purified as William had been, so there is no danger from them at the present time."

"You know of my father? And how long have I been here? My belly..."

"Almost three weeks. The children grow quickly because of their heritage. Soon you will be the mother of a child that prophesy says will end the Lord of Lust. As for the battle... The Hunters and Battle Priests found something in the catacombs. There is evidence that Master Yorin of the Hunters has been using the catacombs to smuggle artifacts from the time of Kalveroth's first summoning."

He let that sink in a moment before he continued.

"He is after demon artifacts and holy relics lost at the time of the castle's sinking and becoming the catacombs. The smugglers were questioned thoroughly and it seems that they were to deliver their goods to Namina where they would pass them off to a second group. From there, they didn't know where the artifacts went. Namina's Hunter branch has already been informed and they are working with the church and Carthin branch to find out what Yorin is planning."

"I... See. Thank you for the information."

"That isn't all. Your father.... He was an Archivist, part of an offshoot for the Hunters. A long time ago, he was sent to find William's sword by Yorin. Seigrin had a feeling that something was off about Yorin, so he had planned on turning the weapon over to us here at the Church. I believe you should contact the Archivists in the south and see what aid they can offer."

"Um.... Now?"

"Ohhohoho, not now child! I mean after the babes have been born."

"I hardly think I'm up to traveling with a baby in my arms. And Rose will be in the same boat. I can't leave without her."

Liones started to answer, but the door opened and Rose and Larissa carefully walked into the room, both holding their swollen stomachs. Larissa had a smile on her face that made Venus feel reassured. She had been worried their ordeal would destroy the young woman. Instead, she stepped forward and spoke.

"That won't be a problem. Mason... He asked me to marry him. And once the children are born, we will be working alongside the church to see that they are brought up well and prepared for what is to come."

"Mason proposed? Even with..." Venus let her voice trail away, but Rose laughed and picked up there.

"Oh yeah he did! Right in front of Rondo and me. Surprised Larissa and me, but apparently Rondo had already picked up on his feelings for her. Oh, Winlay mentioned that she saw you. I'm surprised you didn't kill her."

"The thought crossed my mind. How do you feel about her?"

"Other than the fact that she tried to lead our husband to his ****? She was **** into it. I don't like how she was treated and I understand why he did it. I just wish he had waited until after we were found."

Venus nodded her agreement, but turned back to Liones.

"So you want us to leave our children here? And what, just forget about them?"

"Oh no, you will have free access to them. But we can supply them with what they will need to fight their father. The sword you received from William has been placed in safe keeping and will be given to your child. The others will be given equipment as it is needed. I feel that it is your child that will be the lynch pin to whatever is needed for this prophesy we were given."

Larissa and Rose spoke up with their agreement and Venus finally nodded as well. Liones said that any day, they would give birth. But what awaited them after that? And was Yorin really up to something?
