Answer their questions.
Shiki glared at them. It was quite inevitable, but she was going to run into someone taking such a blunt approach into the Warehouse, although she didn't expect it'd be this early and right at the door. There's no way they'd take a 'I got lost' or 'I was curious and decided to look in' as an excuse either, with the way they seemed at edge, hands reaching for their hips. There really was only one way to go about this.
"Me? I guess you could say that I'm a sort of street sleuth, although this isn't usually my kind of thing. I'm more of the person who cleans up the problems after someone else finds the cause, you know? I learned of the sleazy operation you guys got running here a bit ago from one of your friends. I'm just here to see how much of a problem your little thing is, and how much filth I might just have to clean up as well."
"Oh? Well you're not the first to figure this out. But if you were smart, you would've decided to forget about this and gone home to cozy up in your nice warm bed. Too late to turn back now."
Shiki reached behind to draw her knife, but was too slow. The talk had given them time to draw their guns. Pistols pointed at her body.
"Hands up. Turn around."
