Answer the door

You get out of bed and open the door. Mrs. Anderson is standing at the door.

"It's lunch time, Parker," she says. "And the movers are here so they'll be moving your family's stuff in while we eat."

You thank her and follow her into the dining room. The dining room is yet another impressive room with a long table. Mr. Anderson sits at the head of the table with Ethan to his right and Belinda to his left. You blush a bit when you see her, but she just gives you an enigmatic smile. You're surprised to see your mother bringing in platters from the kitchen and serving the family, though she's still dressed in her casual clothes. You're not quite sure what to make of it. Mrs. Anderson gestures for you to sit to her right as she sits down at the foot of the table.

Everybody thanks your mother politely as she serves out a cream of mushroom soup and some roast chicken sandwiches. When your mother is done serving, she sits across the table from you.
