Ann gets ready for school but manages to forget something imporant

Ann's morning routine was nothing special. Wake up to her alarm clock, slap the snooze button, wake up again, snooze again, eventually realize that she can't sleep all day and tumble out of bed. After that it was a simple matter of grabbing breakfast if she didn't sleep in too much, then shower and get a move on.

Living alone also meant that Ann never had to wait for the bathroom to be free or worry about having to mold her routine around anybody else. Less fortunately, it also meant that nobody was around to point out when the blonde forgot something in her rush to get to school. Sometimes that meant her school bag, or (much less often) her phone, and one time she even forgot her shoes.

Today, however, Ann forgot much more than one small thing. After her morning shower she dried off and skipped out of her bathroom. A quick glance at the clock showed that she'd slept in far more than she intended.

"Oh, crap! I'm gonna be late!" Ann said, rushing over to the front of the house. Ann grabbed her school bag and slung it over her shoulder as she slipped into her shoes and threw open the door. A warm morning breeze blew across Ann's body. Her bare body. She'd completely ignored getting dressed after hopping out of the shower!

"Huh, why do I feel like I'm forgetting something?" Ann asked herself idly as she stepped outside and let the front door fall shut behind her.
