Angry

You are already lost, confused, hungry and alone in a place that you have no knowledge of. The first person you see tries to kill you, and the last person you saw had also attempted to end your life. You've had enough.

Immediately after jumping out of the way of the danger time continues. She drops down hard where you had just stood. Dagger penetrating the ground exactly where the nap of your neck had been but a moment before. Shes fast.

You leap forward towards her and reach an arm out to grab her. The anger painted on your face is self evident and you can see for a split second that your sudden counter attack has caught her off guard and startled her. A moment later though you see her look change back into one of grim determination and in almost the same instant time stops again.

You stop in your tracks immediately with the tip of a dagger a very uncomfortable distance away from your throat. Your eyes shoot up in surprise as you realize this girl has speed and skill that defy all of your previous understanding and experience. Your balance is awkward as you stopped mid-step and you have to twist uncomfortably out of the way to avoid being pierced by the dagger.

Your awkward dodge of the sharp metal object is somewhat successful. However, it still manages to graze you and you receive a cut across your arm. Time starts up again immediately afterwards and you unconsciously sigh in relief; grateful for not having the unpleasant sensation of a dagger plunging into your flesh.

She mutters something else you cant understand under her breath and looks on with another look of surprise. You think to yourself: *She's crazy fast. But to her though, it must look like I'm even faster.* Her left hand stops moving, her index and middle-finger pointing straight up, the others all folded in on themselves. She keeps her eyes on you, and time stops again.

As is your custom, you look around cautiously and see nothing, you turn around and see nothing either. You take a brief step back once more trying to identify the danger and you feel a tiny pin prick on the back of your neck. Time has still stopped. You reach back and manage to pull a large multicolored wasp from your neck, you see its stinger is out and is dripping a thick, viscous fluid from its point. You feel strangely warm and cold at the same time and a few moments later your vision blurs and you collapse to the ground.

Time resumes as soon as you black out.
