Chapter 7
by Torg
Who do you sit near?
Angie the sorority girl
You decide that since she went to your school, you'll have a better chance with Angie, plus those massive mammaries just draw you to them.
As you walk down the line of chairs in the small auditorium, Angie looks up at you. She looks back down, then looks up again as you get closer.
"Aren't you from Kennedy?" she asks with a smile of recognition. "John, right?"
"Yup, and you're Angie. I recognized you when I came in. Do you mind if I sit here?" you ask with a friendly look on your face.
"Sure," she says as she moves her books in the chair next to her. You sit right next to her.
"So have you run into anyone else from high school?" you ask, once you've settled in.
"Nope, you're the first. Say, my sorority is having a party on Saturday. You wanna come?"
You grin big at her, saying, "Absolutely! That would be grand!"
"Good," she says as she digs in her backpack. She pulls a small flyer out and hands it to you. It declares, "First Party of the Year at ΣΕΧ!"
"Thanks!"
The professor clears her throat and says, "May I have your attention, class?"
You both turn to pay attention.
"As I call your name, please stand and state one unique thing about you. This is my way of taking attendance and putting a face to the name."
The names are called and people respond.
"I went to Hawaii to surf."
"I want to write a novel."
"I was raised in Alaska in a cabin in the woods."
The redhead, whose name is Melinda Jenkins, says, "My father is a funeral director." That gets some interesting looks.
The mocha athlete, Janet Pierce, says in a very quiet voice, "I'm on the varsity soccer team."
Angie (Smythe) stands and says, "I'm in the same sorority my mother and grandmother were in."
