Andreth

Andreth had been selected especially to hunt down the sorceress outside the town. His knowledge of magic gave him some advantage, but his weapons would also be useful against this woman.

To reach the tower, he had to pass through the Spine Forest - a dark green wall of trees, where things known to prey on men's minds, and other parts, were rumoured to dwell.

As he followed the faded path through the dense forest, he heard a snap behind him. Spinning, his blade was out of its scabbard before his eyes focussed on the creature behind him.

A brown-skinned woman, with waist-long green hair, held her hands up in surrender.

"Please, Paladin. Put away your sword. You shall not need it against me." The dryad said, a slight smile twisting the corner of her mouth. "I'm more interested in your other sword."
