An outlaw vessel has been detected!

You hurry to the bridge, still buttoning up your uniforming and straightening your hair as the lift opens onto the bridge of the Venomed Dagger. The crewmen salute you as you stride across the deck to your position on the captain's pulpit. Lieutenant Sneet salutes smartly and hands command of the vessel over to you. His dark eyes betray a lingering look at your face and you realize you must be flushed.

"I was, uh, in the exercise room. Alone."

"Ah," Sneet nods.

"What's the situation?" you demand.

"Ship Mistress, there is a vessel traversing the Demeter asteroid fields headed for Omicron-69. It is in our registry of vessels as a **** trader belonging to the criminal Scugg Bollox."

An image of the criminal appears on the screen. He looks like a fleshy green pile of feces with short fat, arms and a huge, fanged mouth. His sluglike body rests on a plinth surrounded by **** girls and guards.

Slaving, sometimes tolerated by the Empire on the surface of the most primitive fringe planets, is grounds for destruction or seizure of a vessel in the trade lanes. You would be well within your authority to board his ship or blast him to debris.

"Will they give us a fight?"

Sneet smiles, "Not much of one. We can destroy them without much risk."

"I suggest we immobilize them and board their vessel." The voice belongs to Battle Commander Tyson who has just arrived on the bridge. "They may carry valuable cargo."

"I agree with Battle Commander Tyson," it's Oowara, the last member of your command crew. She is a blue-skinned beauty in her engineering uniform. Amazing how she has managed to wear the modest blacks of the Space Armada in such a sensual manner.

"Bah," the slim, pale Sneet waves his hand. "Captain, why risk our vessel? Just blast them to pieces and be done with it. They're not worth our time."
