An hour and one nail polish session later...

She calms down, wiping tears of laughter from her eye. "You know, I'm really thankfully you came over, I really needed a break from the world falling apart." You tell her it's no problem, you're having fun as well. "Shucks, you really are a sweet guy, you know that?" She gives you a peck on the cheek.

"But I should really get going, my professor really wants me on the campus working on the project." The project? You don't believe she's mentioned anything about a project. "Oh it's a little secret right now, but it'll really help out people! Er, hang tight for a minute, I got to use the toilet real quick."

She leaves you alone in her living room.
