Chapter 10

What Went Wrong?
An Old And Very Angry Aquiantance...
"Gyaridos pod spotted, port side!" the sonar man called out while Jessy and James were fishing off that side. The tour group rushed to cast lines while Jessy and James hastily realed theirs in. One encounter with an angry Gyaridos had been quite enough for the two of them, and it had left them with a healthy dose of fear of the spieceses. They were too late though, James felt a bite on his line just before it would have left the water, and up came the head of a Gyaridos...
An all too familiar Gyaridos...
"Hu-Hi again..." James managed, smiling feebly, waiving to the much older and stronger but still recognizable Gyaridos which has evolved from the Magicarp he had bought during the failed heist aboard the Queen Anne.
Things might have gone better if he hadn't spoken, 'his' Gyaridos was not so good with faces, but a voice... Suddenly the Gyaridos growled, and the rest of the pod popped up out of the water.
Jessy saw what was coming. "Everyone get bellow decks and brace for impact!" she shouted, as the enraged pod of Gyaridos began the arcane dance to summon the power of the "Dragon Rage" move.
less than ten seconds later the "Slice of Life" was lifted from the sea on an unnatural water spout and hurled through the air, tossing and tumbling for almost an hour, before at last the power dissipated and it crashed on the beach of an unknown island far out to sea...
During that hour a lot of people were thrown overboard, most likely doomed to die at sea from starvation, dehydration, or drowning, but Jessy and James were lucky, they somehow made it to the island alive...

Pokémon: Rest for the Wicked.
When Jessy and James end up stranded on an uninhabited island thousands of miles from the nearest City, Town, or even Village and with no hope in the world of getting rescued, they re-examine their lives up to this point, and over time their relationship.
Jessy and James, lovely and charming villains of Team Rocket, have FINALLY managed to square things with Boss Giovanni. Managing to steal the plans for an illegal prototype pokeball from team Magma which can be used to capture HUMANS, they kidnap several young children from the Pokemon Academy in the Kanto Mountains and hold them for ransom: while Ash Ketchum and Pikachu are on a plane to Aloha and nowhere within 10000 miles. It worked. In recognition of thier NOT screwing up Giovanni gives them a new assignment, posing as deep sea fishing tour guides while hunting for rare aquatic Pokemon... Not very glamorous, but their track record IS abysmal. Having managed to put some distance between themselves and Ash's Pikachu everything goes fairly OK... Right up until James hooks a suspiciously familiar Guayridos. The survive; AGAIN, but find themselves marrooned on an island thousands of miles from nowhere with Meowth nowhere to be found. In the end, this could turn out to be the best thing which has ever happened to them...
