An Interruption...

Maxine is about to grab into her bag and pull something out but before she could Jessica’s phone had begun to ring. She managed to push Max off of her before getting up and grabbing her phone from the nightstand. She notices that it’s her dad and decides to answer right away.

He says hello and says what he has to say before hanging up. He wanted to ask when she would be coming home next, Jessica hadn’t really thought about it yet but since he asked she might as well go soon. Her family home was fairly close to the college she attended so travelling there wouldn’t be an issue. She finally ends up deciding that it wouldn’t hurt going to visit her family over the weekend.

Jessica quickly throws on another pair of leggings (since her other pair were ripped) and leaves the room to head down to the cafeteria for breakfast, mainly so that she wouldn’t have to deal with Maxine but partly because she wanted to try out her new powers.
