Ambush

Two Jedi and a small squad of clones were no match for a hive of Geonosian Warriors and a Jedi Master coordinating their movements. Under her command, all the bugs hid in the alcoves of the large chamber, immobile so they were indistinguishable from statues. in the dim light they were invisible. Luminara collected her lightsaber and held Poggle at the point of it. When Skywalker and Kenobi finally found their way into the chamber it seemed that Master Unduli had captured the Queen and Poggle, they were Jedi though, they may sense something is off.

"Our mission is a success, Master Kenobi," She called.

"So it would seem," replied Obi-Wan in his cool, carefree tone. If he suspected anything, he did not let it show. Despite any possible suspicions he may have had, he and Anakin strode over to her keeping an eye around the room. The clones likewise spread around the chamber, blasters trained on Poggle and the Queen. As they approached Kenobi started "How did you mana-" he was cut off by Luminara's deft strike to his torso, slashing across his chest leaving only blackened flesh and robes in its wake. Reacting instantly, though not fast enough to save his former Master, Anakin struck in anger at her, a reckless attack that was easily deflected. Simultaneously, the hidden Geonosians made their move, dropping from the alcoves and swarming the few remaining clones who had survived this far.

The duel between Anakin and Luminara raged in flashes of Blue and Green, the low hum and high screech of lighsaber combat echoing through the chamber. 'Good, focus on me' she thought as she reveled in the blood sport around her, eyes locked on Skywalkers attacks. He was distracted long enough now for the controlled warriors to retrieve the clone blasters and on Luminaras mental order, they all opened fire on him. A full duel was dangerous enough, but while under fire from all directions, even for the 'chosen one' it was impossible to win. A blaster bolt caught him in the shoulder, causing him to stagger but that was all it took. Down came the fatal strike from Luminara, cutting from the shoulder to the hip. He slumped down, deceased.

Soon after the restrained clones were infected and under the hive mind's control... so it began.
