Chapter 111

How does the boat trip go?
Amanda dressed for the occasion
In his kitchen Frank quickly made a pitcher of frozen margaritas and another of frozen daiquiris, dosed them with the **** and filled two thermoses. He put them in a cooler and loaded it into the SUV and finished the rest of his packing. By the time he was done Amanda had returned, wearing a loose chemise that was short enough to show most of her tanned athletic legs.
"Ready to go!" she bubbled happily as Frank held the door for her. "I'm so looking forward to this! Thank you so much!"
"My pleasure," he smiled as he pulled out of the driveway. "I'm gonna stop at a deli and pick up some lunch, then we'll be on our way."
The two of them chatted idly on the trip to the boat. Amanda had just finished her second year of college, and was taking psychology, but still wasn't sure about her long term plans. She had a boyfriend back in college, but whether the relationship would survive a summer apart was uncertain. When Frank probed for her opinions on the other women on the street she cheerfully told him what a stuck up bitch she thought Tara Scott was, and that Letitia Pettis wasn't very serious about school. She said Nicole Meadows had slept with at least one of her professors. She didn't know much about the girls who were still in high school, except for Patty Elston, who she called a thieving little shit.
Since she lived in the house between Vanessa Cornell and Holly Bryant, Frank thought she might have opinions about them, but other than saying they were very pretty, she didn't know them well. She also didn't know many of the people who lived at the end of the cul de sac.
Frank's moorage was a cabin and a private dock and boathouse. He had phoned earlier to have the local who acted as a caretaker for several cabins take the boat out of the boathouse and tie it to the dock. Frank pulled up and parked, and with Amanda's help, carried their gear and lunch onto the boat.
"It's beautiful!" She exclaimed. "So pretty! And we have such a beautiful day!"
"More beautiful with you on board," he chuckled.
"Why thank you! That's so sweet!"
"In the cooler you'll find a thermos of margaritas and a thermos of daiquiris. There are glasses in the cabin. Why don't you pour us drinks while I cast off?"
"Yes Captain! I can pour drinks as well as any deckhand!" she giggled, scampering off to find things. Frank started the engine and cast off, pulling the boat out into the channel and savouring the clean aroma of the fresh air.
"Here we are!" Amanda chirped, coming up from the cabin with two glasses. "I poured daiquiris. Rum seemed so much better for some reason!"
Frank took the glass and toasted her, eyeing her body. She'd removed the light chemise to reveal a scanty white bikini which left almost nothing to the imagination. She grinned as she saw him notice, and gave a little pirouette to show herself off.
"You like? I thought I'd catch some sun while we're out here! Mmmm...you make a mean daiquiri! So yummy!"
"So are you," Frank growled, toasting her.

"You're such a tease!" she giggled happily, going back to perch at the back of the boat.
