Already getting drunk by herself

"Hey Mils! Come, come, have a seat!" Alyss shouted, before letting out a giggle. "Why are you still sober? C'mon, girl! Parties are for you to get drunk!"

"Well, you're already drunk enough for both of us," Millie said dryly. "You seem to be enjoying yourself."

"Well yeah! Gotta have something to take my mind off Parker, that disappointing bastard."

Millie raised an eyebrow, surprised at what her longtime friend had said. Parker was Alyss' current boyfriend, she recalled. Last time Millie checked, the couple was doing fine. Or at the very least, better than most of Alyss' previous relationships. That girl didn't have, like, 19 exes for no reason.

"Trouble in paradise?" Millie asked.
