Along comes a spider

After a cool and friendly evening hanging with Victoria, Rian takes it down for the night but not before checking his missed messages. Seeing as he missed Nici's texts he strikes up a conversation that lasts majority of the night. They talk as if they have been long time friends and hold nothing back. They talk of life, experiences, interests, quirks and society. More often than not alot of the texts take a slightly provocative turn but the night ends with a heartfelt farewell and Rian hits the sack for rest.

(Speed up about 6 months later)

Rian and Nici hit it off swimmingly and started to spend alot of time together. Dates were had, closeness was achieved and Rian even met her family. (Her dad a human gave him a knowing look on first meet). As time progressed and Rian got to know the family, bonds were strengthened and Nici fell for Rian deeper by the week. One day Rian came home to find his door cracked. He had given Nici a spare key for emergencies and this was no emergency. Walking in he found Nici cooking him a delicious home cooked meal with the living room being candlelit. "Umm, what are you doing here?" Rian asked tentatively with a lump in his throat. Rian's memory flashed back to a cookout the family held which Rian was invited to. Pulling him to the side Rian was warned about the women in his family. "You need to be sure Nici is someone you want to be with. The women in my family love hard and intensely. Nici hasn't had a partner in a long time so she will latch onto you. You need to be sure she is someone you can spend the rest of your life with."

(Back inside the apartment)

Nici looks to Rian "I just wanted to surprise you, I'm sorry." she says sadly. Rian initially irritated can't help but smile. "You surprised me is all, no need to apologies." Rian responds as he pulls her into a tight hug. Nici's hands begin to search Rian as he holds her tight and Nici can feel his heart accelerate. Rian breaks away and walks to the stove letting Nici's excellent cooking. As usual Nici spoiled him rotten with her cooking. Besides her breathtaking looks and "attributes", Nici was perfect for Rian and both fit together like pieces of a puzzle. Nici was everything Rian wasn't and making him strong in areas he had difficulty. She grieved with him when his wife's anniversary came around and never left his side. They had spent so much time together at his place, she had unofficially moved in. Work was amazing because while Rian was surrounded by a fair number of attractive women Nici seemed to either not notice or not care. One day Rian asked why and instead of responding Nici just winked at him as her uncovered toe ran up Rian's shin. That was another interesting thing about Nici, she never got upset when another woman flirted with him. Particularly Victoria, when she would shamelessness flirt with Rian in front of Nici, Nici would either joke back in a dismissive but still friendly tone usually, but with Victoria she would egg the joking on, set up scenarios where one or both of the women would physically touch him during the course of the conversation. "That one right there is a keeper, you better not let her go" Victoria said weeks ago once before she retired from a movie night. Lately things have been weird though every time Rian and Nici got intimate, Nici would either become forceful and aggressive with a ramp-up(a) or would go full shove-my-tongue-down-your-throat-until-im-in-your-colon aggressive(z). Rian held off from sex because he wasn't sure he was ready to conquer that hill yet but as they would up in a very compromising situation and the internal temperature was rising. One usual movie night it was just the two of them and after a masterful meal and some wine Rian ended up on top of Nici as she fired back a look that could melt lead. They both knew they wanted each other and Nici was in one of her "aggressive" states.
