Almost...

"Yeah I'm ready to go." You say, looking at Tommy, who nods.

Kathryn lets go of Carissa to pick up Courtney for a hug. She still had a bit of a shell shocked look in her eyes. She quickly melted into Kathryn's hug. Kathryn smiles, "Cool! I'll meet you at the entrance!"

Kathryn starts off, still holding Courtney. "Ah, Kathryn?" You ask as you notice this.

Kathryn turns around again, "Call me Kate, please!" She says. Her face still was streaked with the remnants of her earlier tears, and Carissa's tears had caused her shirt to have a large wet spot on her shoulder. But at the same time knowing that she had at least one friend helped her mood immensely.

"I'm, uh, yeah I'm going to need Courtney." You say with a smile.

Kathryn's eyes go wide, "Oops. Yeah. Ha, sorry." She says, her face going crimson.

You wave off the gaffe, "Not a problem. I've come to realize that she's about as cuddly as you can get. She just melts into affection."

"Only what she deserves, right Courtney?"

"What's deserves?" She asks wide eyed.

Carissa laughs, wiping at her nose, "It means to be worthy of."

"Uh...what's worthy?" Jeremy asks, the question obviously on Courtney's mind as well as she nods.

Carissa looks at Kathryn, "Well I could go the circuitous route and say it means deserves, but..."

Kathryn nods, "You could if you want to stand here with two mad four year olds. They can get rowdy. And you'd be on your own."

Carissa nods at that, the thought having obviously crossed her mind as well. You decide to step in here, "In this particular case it would be: Having sufficient worth. Basically means you should be hugged and cherished."

Jeremy pipes up here, "Me too right?"

Kathryn nods, bending at the knees. Courtney places her little feet on the floor, but Kathryn doesn't let go of her. Instead she opens her arm for her nephew, who smiles and accepts the hug...incidentally hugging Courtney as well. Courtney shifts her head to look at Jeremy.
