Chapter 10 by SpiralFelix SpiralFelix

Does Mackenzie manage to get fully dressed?

Almost!

It was a relatively cool day, so Mackenzie decided to dress accordingly. After throwing on some underwear, she pulled on some leggings and a knee length plaid skirt. She shrugged on a tank top before pulling a green t-shirt on over it. Finally, she stepped into some socks and comfortable sneakers and pulled on a purple jacket, her outfit complete.

"Fine, have it your way!" the radio DJ roared. "I quit!"

"Good!" the other responded, "Please don't let the door hit you on the way out!"

As their argument concluded, Mackenzie unzipped her jacket and placed it back on her bed. She grabbed her purse, turned off the radio and stepped out onto the sidewalk. The diner was just a few blocks away from her apartment so Mackenzie simply planned on walking there.

She was missing a jacket, but was thankfully fully dressed as she strode down the crowded sidewalk. Mackenzie managed to turn a head or two on her way, but that was just part of her daily life.

When she was about a block away, she passed someone begging for change on the street corner. "Spare change, please?"

Mackenzie quickly pulled off her t-shirt before rummaging through her purse as she waited for the light to change. She dropped a few quarters in his cup and the t-shirt fell beside him.

"I hope that helps." she said with a smile before crossing the street.

Mackenzie got a few more glances now that she was in a tank top and showing a hint of cleavage, but not too many. And before she knew it she was entering the diner, unaware she'd already pulled off two items of clothing this morning. She quickly spotted Amanda and joined her in the booth.

How does lunch go for Mackenzie?
