All goes well

You make your way to the airport, grabbing the snack and coffee you promised yourself. Arriving a little later than 7:30, you walk around the airport, looking for the area that Sami is going to come from. It's a beautiful day, sunny day, and you're so excited to see her. You eventually find the gate she'll be coming out of and take a seat about as close as you can get. You pull out you phone and spend some time looking through it, browsing various sites and playing games to kill some time.

Eventually you see a plane pull up to the gate, and you're pretty certain it's her plane. After waiting for what seems like forever as the employees take seemingly forever to let the passengers off the plane, you eventually see people pouring out of the gate.

One by one, they all file out. As you scan the crowd, looking for a hint of blonde in the crowd. Eventually you spot Sami, slowly walking out of the gate. She looks like she just woke up, but everything about her is still perfect. About everything is the same on her, at least from afar. She still looks like the angel you remember. Dirty gold locks, small frame and a slamming body, perfect to take from any position you could dream of.

She's looking around quizzically, looking for you no doubt, but you found her first.

"Sami!" You yell from across the airport, disregarding everyone else. They don't matter compared to her. She looks around trying to see where the voice came from, eventually looking in your direction. Her face goes from drowsy and anxious to pure excitement in about 0.2 seconds. She drops her bags and starts making a run towards you, almost pushing and elderly couple out of the way.

"John!" She yells in an ecstatic fashion, extending the syllables of your name. You start jogging over to her, almost running about as fast as she is. You both quickly close the distance and jump into each others arms. She smells so sweet and she feels so good to hold. Girls like her always have this extra warmth around them, feeling like you're being held by the embodiment of peace and love by itself. You hold each other for a good 5 seconds, shifting back and forth, squeezing each other as hard as you can. She pulls back and gives you a kiss on the cheek, just like she used to after you walked her home from classes during high school.

"Sami! It's been so long, and, you look amazing!" She stares into your eyes, flashbacks of that dream you had. Those dark-orange, sunset colored eyes. "Oh my god, John. You've gotten a little taller, and maybe even stronger." She says as she grabs your arms and squeezes them. You thought those days at the gym on Monday and Thursday were gonna pay off eventually. Seems like you were right.

You both slowly start making your way over to her bags to make sure someone didn't steal them. Conversation starts as you both go back and forth, talking about college, friends and other life happenings. "I can't believe you're really back." You say as you and Sami make it back to your car. "I thought you were gonna be gone for at least another 2 years." She looks at you. "I thought I was too until I realized I was just pushing myself to do something I really didn't want to." You look back for a second and then look forward as you get close to your car. "Then what are you plans other than to catch up with all your old friends?" She looks back as you fish out your car keys. "Probably become a waitress again until I figure out what I'm gonna do for the rest of my life, or just become homeless." She laughs and you follow suit, chuckling back. "Well, let's hope not. Besides, you always have a place at my apartment." She looks up at you while you carefully insert your car key into the lock. "Awh, thanks John, I know I can always count on you."

The drive to your apartment was just like the walk to your car. Catching up, story-telling and joke making. Eventually you make it back to your apartment.
