Alice cautiously steps through

It made no sense, someone falling through a mirror. And yet I seen with my very own eyes. Steve had fallen through the mirror and not come out the other side. It was something like that Twilight Zone guy would think up.

Standing up I made a fist, thinking to break the glass. Easy girl, I voiced aloud, you don't know that that will free him.

I grabbed a pillow and tossed it at the mirror. It fell to the floor unmarred. I grabbed a pencil off Steve's desk and stabbed at the mirror. It snapped in two, but likewise failed to penetrate the mirror. Figuring the doorway must be closed, I cautious reached to touch at my reflection.

And there I was lying at Steve's feet. "You fool," he screamed, "Now we're both stuck on the mirror side." I blinked my eyes in confused wonder as he stormed off through his mirrored dorm door.
