“I’m back, hopefully you ladies already have enough rest and ready to continue the game,” Mike said to the two contestants.

Both Alexandra and Tiana look more refreshed after the break. During these ten minutes breaks, both of them had already adapted and accepted their change and no longer felt the weird dissociation about their changed body and mind.

“I’m ready for round three, Stud, bring it on,” answered Alexandra enthusiastically, she had a reason to be this enthusiastic about continuing the game. During their break, Alexandra was trying to pry open information from Tiana’s mouth about Vince, and her participation in the gameshow but the nun-costumed lawyer was ignoring her. Alexandra realized that she could only get her answer when they go through more rounds of the game, so rather than wasting time any further, she rather had the game fasten up its pace.

“Me too,” Tiana followed Alexandra’s answer in expressing her readiness.

”Good…and now, for our third round, it will be a little different than what with usually have. Usually, we will have the Vice or Virtue round for our third round, but not today! For this episode, we will have something new, a new type of round seen for the first time, I present you; The Pruning!”

“How this round will be played? Like with the usual Vice and Virtue round, you will be faced with multiple choice questions, and you will have chances to take the choice for other contestants to guide them to your preferred outcome.”

“I give you the first chance to do the pruning, Alexandra, as you look very enthusiastic before. And just for your information, this round is proposed by Mr. Vince Gregory himself for you, are you up for the challenge?”

Alexandra was riled up hearing Vince’s name out of Mike’s mouth. “I’m always up to beat the bad scum,” Alexandra replied confidently.

“I like your confidence, Alexandra, let’s begin the round, we will give Tiana some questions with multiple choice, and before she picks her answer, you may take up to two choices of the question, leaving the remaining choice for Tiana to choose. of course, before you take the choices, you must consider that every choice you take from Tiana’s pool of choices will net you an extra change later for every single one of it.”

“I think that’s enough explanation from me, let’s kickstart the round with the first question for Tiana!”

Question #1: Imagine that you are back in your school days, and given a chance to start over, what type of student will you be:

A. The party slut

B. The goth.

C. The valedictorian

"Alexandra, before Tiana picks her answer, do you want to prune Tiana's choices for the first question?" Mike asked

“May I ask a question first?”

“Of course, as long as it is related to the game,” the man replied.

“So, will our dear lawyer get changed according to what she chose? You said that if I take two choices from the available answer, I will net extra changes later, how does this work? For example, if I take answer A from her, will I get to be changed to be a party slut later? honestly, I am still a bit confused about this round’s rules.

“Ah…I see, it looks like you got it all mixed, let me explain it again; for Tiana, she will get changed in accordance with the answer she picked, but you, as the one who does the pruning, will get changed in a different way as the answer you take may be conflicting with each other so we can’t possibly give the same treatment, now the question, in what way you will get changed, we will pick the extra changes randomly from assortment of change proposed by the audience, depending on your luck, it may be a good or bad change,” Mike answered.

“That sounds bad, like why shall I prune her choice if it means getting myself more uncertain changes?”

“Hey, you shall be the good party trying her best to not let the other party become a lot worse person, talking the ideal situation aside, the real incentive here is that by guiding Tiana to your desired kind of person you will get easier time to get information from her, isn’t information about Vince is what you seek?”

Alexandra nodded, “honestly, it still sounds like a trap, but yes, information about the scum is what I seek, hence I will show him that whatever trap he laid for me is useless.”

“That’s the spirit I expect from a fighter like you,” Mike said with some flattery to Alexandra before he continued, “so, let’s back to the question in our hands, do you want to take some choice from Tiana’s first question?”

Alexandra nodded once again, “Yes, please remove option C from her first question, stud, Tiana is a stuck-up prude, she is probably these prudish and no-fun valedictorian back at school, maybe taking a different path in life will finally result in her not associating with the criminal scum, see? I’m doing her a favor here.”

“Okay, answer C is now off the table,” The answer [The Valedictorian] vanished from the question screen, leaving Tiana with only options A and B.

“Now, let’s get back to our other contestant, Tiana, which answer do you want to choose from the two remaining answers?” Mike turned his attention back to the lawyer.

The spotlight then moved once again to Tiana, “You get a complete choice in this one, so, please pick one as your answer as your heart tells you.”

“Answer A is good, but I’m not that selfless person that let my rival best me and steal my lover,” Tiana said. “Thus, it leaves me with B and C, between seeing my rival as a cartoonish bimbo or plain jane, I think making them a plain jane is the best outcome to put them in their place below me. So, my choice fall on answer C.”

“Mess around with the order, and switch it into a beauty reduction surgery, seems evil and in line with one who represents the party of RUIN, let’s see what it will do to you later, but now, let’s move to the last question for you.”

Question #3: Let’s say that your best friend is involved in crime, and the police still have not yet caught their act yet, but you know that what your best friend do is a big hard-to-be-forgiven crime that ruins many lives, what will you do?

C. You snitch on them and let the police catch them.

“Alexandra, I think this one question has an answer that will clearly work in your favor, Would you like to prune some answer?” Mike turned his focus to Alexandra.

“Is this intentional? Is this the scum’s idea? Does he want me to prune the other two answers and leave only the obvious one which is favorable for me?” asked the policewoman, her expression full of wariness and suspicion

Mike only responded with a dry smile, Alexandra considered his silence as he acquiesced to her claim.

“Well then, as I said, I will beat him in his own game, and let him know the price of underestimating me! Stud, please take answers A and B off the list!” Alexandra ordered.

“As you wish my lady, options A and B are now removed, leaving Tiana with only option C, unfortunately, that means our other contestant doesn’t have any choice to pick for this question.”

Mike then walked toward Tiana, “I hope you don’t feel too bad about not being able to pick your answer for the last question because now, it is your turn to be the one who does the pruning while Alexandra will be answering questions. So, are you ready to prune Alexandra’s answer?”

Tiana responded with a nod. “I’m up for it, Mike.”

“Great!”

“Quite the vengeful one you are, Tiana,” Mike commented.

The host then turned to look at the waiting contestant on the other side.

“Alexandra, you have answers A and C to pick from, which one do you will choose? Will you follow your mother and undergo the same full makeover package as her or will you turn down the full makeover offer but accept their offer for a session of feet massage and pedicure?”

“I do love to have a full makeover but I will not go to a new recently opened salon for a big makeover, you know, not every salon can handle my hair, so I will take answer C for this one, my feet can get a little pampering after days long of work.”

“Yeah, having your feet massaged after a long day of work can feel very pleasant, I can introduce you to my regular masseuse later, but before that, let’s move to your next question, Alexandra,” Mike made a small talk over Alexandra's choice.

C. You don’t care about the exam, after the exam, you realize that school just isn’t for you, and decide to drop out from school.

“Back at you, Tiana, will you remove some answers from this question or give Alexandra full choice as she did in your second question?”

“Well, Mike, I don’t think I need to thank her for that, it’s not like it was anything helpful, so, please remove answer A from the list.”

“Yikes, the two remaining answers are something that our police friend will not be happy to have, so, Alexandra, which one do you will pick? Cheat or drop out from school?”

“This is unfair!” Alexandra complained.

“You should not blame the game, where is our Alexandra that confident to beat the criminal mastermind behind the scene?” Mike tried to console Alexandra.

Alexandra took a deep breath and calmed down after hearing Mike’s reply, “yes, a simple hurdle like this shall not bring me down, thank you for reminding me, handsome,” the policewomen continued, “I’ll take answer B then, I realize that if the scum plays dirty, I also need to learn to play dirty, I think the mentality of result justify the mean shall be some help for me.”

“Nice resolve, I guess you are ready for your third and last question.”.

Question #3: You are on an undercover mission to get close to the head of a mafia family, only by being close to them will you be able to gather evidence of their crime, but the mafia family had been wary a wary one, without devoting yourself to your role, and gaining their trust, you will not be able to finish your mission. Now, the question; what will you pose as and how do you gain the mafia’s trust?

Mike sighed but didn’t pursue Tiana further after she answered firmly. The game host then turned his attention to the other contestant.

“You are in luck with all answers intact this time, Alexandra, so, my advice for you is to choose wisely between the three, these changes will help you closer to your goal or make you stray, sometimes taking the riskiest one is your best choice. ”

“You don’t need to tell me that, I have my own consideration for my choice,” Alexandra replied.

“Well then, what's your choice?”

“Despite my appearance, I’m not a slut, and don’t want to be one, so option A is out of choice as now, between acting submissive and acting dominant, I prefer acting dominant, at least I can also prove that someone with my kind of appearance can get the action done, so, another B as my answer.”

“With your pick, we are done with the first stage of the game, let’s see what you ladies get so far.”

"As I said at the start, the extra changes will be decided by the audience's input. But to ensure fairness, you can ask for a swap for one change you dislike, and the Producer's team will get you a new one to replace it. Without further ado, let's see what our audience has in store for you."

Mike looked at the two contestants and they reciprocated Mike’s gaze with nods, signaling their readiness for the transformation.

With a finger snap from the game host, the collars of change lit up and swallowed both contestants in blanketing light.

Don’t make fool of yourself, Alexa. You are a trained agent. Alexa tried to not vomit her stomach out. In this reality, Alexandra was no longer Alexandra Marshall but Alexa Marinova. A Russian spy with the codename ‘Rapunzel’ because of her trademark very long platinum blonde hair. Not much changed physically aside from her face taking more Russian ancestry characteristics, and her skin color changing to fair white Russian skin, losing all the tan she had before.

Her current task was to apprehend a mafia that hold one of her higher-up important secrets. Supposedly, it should be a quick job for Alexa, it was not a task that was high in importance and can be done alone, a perfect task for Alexa that among their bureau secret agent was known as a not very good agent but more a higher-up’s favorite pet. Alexa was not really a spy material; a pampered bitch, loud and vulgar, and not very capable and practical considering her appearance. While her attire didn’t blatantly violate the dress code, Alexa modified some detail that challenged the dress code like adding a high slit in her skirt and wearing open-toed platform heels that in all intention was trying to attract gaze to her legs and feet.

The only reason she was able to be a secret agent in the first place is her pretty appearance which let her have some illicit relationship with a certain higher-up in the bureau, and let her enter the ranks through nepotism.

Her target for her mission was still Vince Gregory, their bureau had pulled some strings to send her to work with the local police department using a fake identity. Her current identity was detective investigator sent from high above the command chain. Ironically, she was back to her first position before she was changed by the game show. But different from the original her, with her high position, Alexa has proven herself to be a full-blown bitch with abusive tendencies and a cruel streak. She was sometimes reported in news involved around police brutality but she always went scot-free without any real consequence dawning upon her {the brunt was born by others police).

But even after brutally scouring the city, Vince was proven to be a slippery villain that even Alexa had a hard time chasing his track. It was what **** her to join the gameshow as she received a challenge from the mafia to appear at the show.

Meanwhile, on Tiana's side.

“Praise the Goddess of Night,” Tiana mumbled after the terrible dizzy spell went away.

Her appearance was changed even further. Her nun garb was transformed once more as it morphed back into a hobble dressed with a mermaid hobble skirt. The dress was similar but different than what she had on the first change, one visible difference was the additional tight red corset cinching her waist. Her eyebrows were permanently removed and in their place were permanent high-arched painted brows. Her forehead was tattooed with a crescent moon tattoo.

Tiana was no longer a devout Catholic lady, she had realized that being Catholic would not be able to quench her ‘loves’ back in her early days, and since then, she was on a journey of self-discovery. Around the time she was in law school, she found her place and calling inside a cult, a sinister parody of Christianity and Paganism that worshipped the Unholy Mother, Goddess of Night, a sex cult where the female member of its congregation dressed like a fetishized nun met devil-worshipping goth. The cult instilled a new value and teaching into her mind, and Tiana found herself twisted in view, or maybe she was already twisted from the start but only needed a little push.

Tiana's love for her new Goddess of Night and her cult was immeasurable and maddening. Tiana acknowledged her mistake caused by her selfishness after the cult leader told her that she damaged the Goddess of Night’s interest. They decided to part ways from there after Tiana promised to not take any other malicious action toward the congregation of the cult anymore.

But even after she was not in the cult, she was still a faithful believer of Goddess of Night and still practice the teaching of the cult. The men from the cult regularly visit her to be drained by the Cumpyre.

In this reality, Vince struck the deal with the crooked and obsessive lawyer easily. He didn’t need to **** her, when he knew her secret, he make a deal to offer her a steady stream of men for her and help her to build her own cult after the show ended. His offer was accepted by Tiana without any long thought.

Mike looked at both contestants that look unwell even though they tried to look fine. He shook his head in pity, that much change in once probably took a toll on their body compared to the previous round alas he was not in any position to pity them. He even prefers them to be on edge, rushed, and unable to think clearly thus making mistakes. Mistake, that’s usually the thing their audience like the most rather than having them choose their change carefully.
